National Chairman Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters Group, Prince Vincent Okumagba has tasks the female national soccer team of Nigeria the Super Falcons to go all out and conquer the continent when they file out against the rest of Africa’s best at this year’s edition of the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nation, WAFCON 2025 in Morocco.

The WAFCON is set to ignite the African football scene with 12 qualified nations battling it out across three formidable groups.
As fans gear up for the highly anticipated WAFCON 2025 tournament, Okumagba express his confidence in the team’s ability and praise the Justin Madugu led technical crew for picking the very best to represent the country in Morocco.
He stated that the Super Falcons still remain the team to beat as far as women’s football is concern in Africa.

Speaking to journalists in the earlier hours of today from his base in Canada Okumagba emphasize the importance of climbing back to the summit of female football in Africa having been the dominant team at that level over the years.
“They are still the team to beat in Africa considering their pedigree and achievement on the continent and at the global stage. Their dominance of CAF WAFCON has no rivalry therefore, they must put in more efforts to go a step better than their previous finishing at the biggest stage of women football.
“They (Falcons) are a team full of highly experienced and talented players so, they should go all out to confirm their supremacy at that level”
“Nigerians are behind them and have been thirsting for a 10th African title in the women’s football for quite a long while and are such praying and hoping for a better outing for the team when hostility begin in a few week’s time”
The IMC Chairman who doubles as Vice President African Football and Other Sports Supporters Association says his members will storm the Moroccan City of Casablanca in numbers to provide maximum support for the team when they confront the rest of the continent.
The tournament is scheduled to kick off on July 5, 2025, with the grand finale slated for July 26, 2025.
The 12 participating teams are: Morocco (hosts), South Africa (defending champions), Nigeria, Algeria, Botswana, DR Congo, Ghana, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Zambia.
The tournament will open with hosts Morocco facing Zambia on July 5, 2025, at the newly built Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
The Super Falcons, a nine-time champion, will open their campaign against Tunisia at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca on July 7 before taking on Bostwana in their second game at Pere Jego Stadium on July 14 in Casablanca and round up their group fixtures against Algeria on July 19 at Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
