2026 FIFA WCQ: Super Eagles Supporters Club Battle Ready For Rwanda

The stage is set for the battle of Uyo as the biggest and foremost supporters club in Nigeria Super Eagles Supporters Club are set and battle ready to cheer the Super Eagles to victory as they confront their counterparts later this evening at the imposing Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

Their is a large numbers of the club members in Uyo having arrived in Uyo on Friday evening and have since swung into action mobilizing Nigerians and soccer fans to troop out en-masse to the stadium to support the team.

The game against the Rwandans is a must win for Nigeria to bring back to life the fading hope of featuring in the world cup next year in America.

Nigeria currently occupy 5th position on the log in group C on 7 points from six games thereby putting themselves in a precarious position of missing out of the party at the grandest stage of football.

The band leader of the club Alawode Sunday popularly known as Ashu was brimming with confidence that Nigeria will defeat Rwanda today and win her remaining games to qualify for the World Cup ahead of South Africa at the end of the qualifiers next month.

“I am hundred percent confident Nigeria will be at the world cup. We will defeat Rwanda today, win the remaining three games and qualify ahead of South Africa”.

“Being the band leader, we are fully prepared and ready because this game is a battle and we must make sure our team lack no support”.

A win for Nigeria against Rwanda will boost the confidence of team going into next fixture against South Africa on Tuesday September 9 in Bloemfontein.
