Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters Group, NFSSG under the leadership of its Interim Management Committee Chairman, Prince Vincent Okumagba has call on the leadership of both the National Sports Commission and Nigeria Football Federation to capture the club in their budgets, provide and make funds available for the club during national assignments.
In a statement made available to news men shortly after the club monthly routine a couple of minutes ago, the club laments about how difficult it is to have the full compliments of their members in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State capital on Tuesday October 14 to mobilise support for Super Eagles against Benin Republic due to lack of sponsor and funding from NSC.

The club made it known that since the unification of supporters club the National Sports Commission are yet to provide financial support to assist the club in the area of logistics such as, transportation (to and fro match venues), and accommodation for members, these, they said have been a burden on the club’s shoulder.
The club appeal to the Mallam Shehu Dikko led National Sports Commission, The Nigeria Football Federation and other well meaning Nigerians, and most especially the Presidency not to turn their back at supporters club, and come to their aid as they are also ambassadors of the nation and the beautiful game being the twelveth player for the various national teams.

Interim Management Committee Chairman, Prince Vincent Okumagba who also doubles as Vice President, African Football Association reiterated the club’s commitment in supporting national teams especially Super Eagles as they prepare to confront the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Tuesday October 14 in Uyo in a make or mar game to determine their chances of making the FIFA world cup next year.
