Chairman, Interim Management Committee Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters Club NFSSG and Founder/President Super Eagles Supporters Club SESC Prince Vincent Okumagba has sent his congratulatory messages to the team and officials of Nigeria’s male national team the Super Eagles for their victory over the Panthers of Gabon in the CAF world cup playoff in Rabat, Morocco.
According to the IMC Chairman, the game brought out the best of the Super Eagles throughout the entirerity of the encounter and they did show the zeal and resilience that make them the team to beat every time. He says the boys performance tonight is a reminisce of what their performance used to be some years ago and he was at no time under undue pressure knowing full well that the team is capable of beating Gabon which they did.

“Let me congratulate the team and officials for a wonderful performance tonight, the victory was deserving and it shows that we’re on course for another appearance in the FIFA world cup. I am very happy tonight and you could see the joy in me and every other supporters here in the stadium are happy as well”.
“Our boys gave their all, stepup their game and churn out impressive performance. The game really brought out the best in them and they were full of confidence and energy throughout the 120 minutes of the encounter”.

Okumagba who doubles as Vice President African Football Association concludes that he and his members are looking forward to the final against Congo DR and very confident the Super Eagles will triumph on Sunday.

Nigeria will face Congo DR in the final of the CAF world cup playoff on Sunday in Rabat, Morocco and the winner of that game will take a berth at the FIFA intercontinental playoff in Mexico next year to fight for one of the two available tickets to fill up the remaining two slots for the FIFA world cup.
